*About Us* Platinum Charters Sdn Bhd is the largest private luxury yacht charter operator in Malaysia. It was co-founded by its current Chief Executive Officer Patrick Anthony Theseira and his brothers Francis Aloysius Theseira (deceased) and Clifton Alphonse Theseira in 2011, and currently operates a fleet of 25 luxury yachts from nearly all major marinas in the country. *History* Platinum Charters was established in 2011 to meet the increased in the luxury lifestyle market by providing luxury yacht charter services to the affluent. The company embarked on its journey with just 3 yachts and has grown significantly to operate 25 yachts, throughout Malaysia. 20% of the yachts belong to the company while the rest are managed and operated on behalf of their owners. Platinum Charters which operates the largest fleet of luxury yachts that includes a broad range of catamarans, motor yachts and sailing yachts, is currently headquartered in Port Dickson but has vessels available in nearly all marinas in the country. Its clientele has grown to include members of the Royal family, Ministers, Diplomats, business tycoons, high earning professionals and celebrities. It was co-founded by its CEO Patrick Anthony Theseira, a former flight crew member with Malaysia Airlines, and his brothers Clifton Alphonse Theseira and Francis Aloysius Theseira (deceased). *Nature of Business* Based in Port Dickson, the company offers corporate charters, personal charters, diving charters and fishing charters. It also operates chartered cruises to various top tourism destinations in Malaysia and the region including Langkawi, Penang, Pangkor, Kapas, Perhentian, Redang, Tioman, Puteri Harbour, Thailand and the Andaman Islands. The organsiation has many experienced seafaring Captains, Crew Members and Stewardesses under its service with a total of 25 employees. The company also operates a private jet charter as part of its premium lifestyle offerings. *Yachts* The smallest yacht currently operated by Platinum Charters is 38 ft long while the largest superyacht is 180 ft long. Among the luxury yachts in service with Platinum Charters include a Ferretti 480, Aquilla 36 and 48, Lagoon 39, 42 and 62, Monte Fino 82, Princess 66, Riva Opera 85, Manhattan 63, Azimut 55, San Lorenzo 62, Four Winns 358, Meridian 44, Hunter 33, Ericson 380, Sunseeker 60, Targa 52 and Leopard 39 & 51. They also operate the Dickson Dragon Trimaran, a popular sunset cruise attraction in Port Dickson. *Dickson Dragon* In 2018, on the advice and recommendation of Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Aminuddin bin Harun, the Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, the Dickson Dragon, a one of a kind trimaran that can host up to 60 people, was brought in from Phuket, Thailand to provide affordable cruising options to tourists and the general public. Dickson Dragon was officially launched by YTM Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Syed Razman bin Tunku Syed Idrus and it became one of the most talked about and boarded attractions in Port Dickson, due to its unique look and onboard features that include a saltwater jacuzzi, barbeque grill, karaoke machine and disco lights. It is the first and only affordable premium sunset cruise in Malaysia. *Exhibitions & Boat Shows* Platinum Charters is an active participant in various tourism related events and road shows including the annual MATTA & MITTA fairs, and also the Merdeka Boat Show. *Shared Prosperity Organisation* Platinum Charters has been acknowledged by the Malaysia Productivity Council under the Ministry of Trade & Industry (MITI) and Ministry of Human Resources (MHR) as a Shared Prosperity Organisation for implementing a Productivity-Linked Wage System (PLWS) in their organisation since February 2021. *Corporate Social Responsibility & Charities* As part of its social responsibility and charitable contributions, Platinum Charters has been an active and regular contributor to many charitable events organised by the Glitterama Ladies Charity Group helmed by award winning philanthropist Datin Maylene Yong. Platinum Charters has also organised various charitable programs with luxury holiday resort Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. Among their contribution to environmental education, Platinum Charters in cooperation with Lexis Hibiscus, sponsored a “Raptor Watch” trip for 22 underprivileged students from 11 neighbouring schools to experience raptors flying into Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest in Port Dickson in 2019. Their efforts were supported by both Melaka & Negeri Sembilan state governments. The activity was featured on national news channels RTM (Selamat Pagi Malaysia) and Bernama. *Search & Rescue* Platinum Charters were also involved in helping flood victims of the Penang floods in 2017. They also deployed three of their boats to aid and assist in the search and rescue of badly hit flood victims at Sri Muda, Shah Alam in Selangor, in 2022. During the mission, they located and, transported the old and sick to relief centres, and also handed out food to victims of the state level emergency.
